What swine flu?

Well, we made it back from our cruise to San Cabo, Mazatlan, and Porta Vallarta. We didn't see anyone wearing masks and didn't really hear about the swine flu until we got back. I guess we were lucky we got there and back. Jana's son, Kolby, is scheduled for the same cruise this Sunday, and the cruise line has cancelled the Mexico itinary and are offering to take them somewhere else - not sure where.

Anyway, thought you might enjoy seeing a few pictures of the trip. We really had a great time and enjoyed the time together.

Little jaunt for mom and dad

So Dad and I have been wanting to take a little trip like we did to Death Valley and so we went early yesterday morning up Cedar Canyon and around to Torrey and spent the night there and circled back around today. It was very nice and we really enjoyed it - it was cooler there, too!

The small rural communities were great, but it made me glad I don't live there. It did make me nostalgic for the Nephi days, as they reminded me a lot of the old Nephi days when you kids were young.

Anyway, here are a few pictures - hope everyone had a great 24th of July.

Congratulations to Emma and McKayl who became the newest Scotts to join the church. It was a fun day. Thanks for letting me share it with you!
